A supposed Sprint employee has anonymously posted some new details on the Palm Pre on the Inside Sprint Now blog. The lengthy post contains a host of dry details about the new device, but a few of new features listed are worth a mention.

The Palm Pre will include ˇ°data wipeˇ± functionality, a unique security feature that allows users to remotely delete personal data from the Pre in the event it is lost or stolen. The device also sets up a user ˇ°Palm Profileˇ± for software updates and data restoration.
